More than 10% of Maid Brigade franchise owners are veterans, and right now, Maid Brigade is awarding 100 qualified veterans with their own businesses by waiving the franchise fees and providing working capital. The contest winners will be announced on Veterans Day.We also discuss the issues surrounding the GI Bill, and the VA's emergency check authorizations.

-In July, the Best Warrior Competition was held at Ft. McCoy in Tomah, Wis. The purpose of the competition was to find the best warrior in the Army Reserves. The week-long event challenged soldiers' physical and mental stamina as well as their will. We speak with a couple warriors in the competition, Sergeant Luke Heideman and Shawn Zimmerman from Hays, Kan., about sore feet and what it's like being in the Army Reserves, working full-time, and going to school full-time.
