VFW Unmet Needs Radiothon/Korean War Memorial

-This Memorial Day weekend the VFW is hosting a radiothon to raise money for Unmet Needs, a program helping military families during financial hardships caused by a deployment. We speak with SSG John Kaiser, who was wounded in Iraq, about how he benefitted from this program.

-Next, we talk with Jack Jackson of Knucklehead Radio about their Memorial Day program, "Flags for Veterans," an effort to give American flags to veterans as a thank you for their service.

-The Korean War is often referred to as "The Forgotten War." We talk with Debra Shultz and her father, Corporal Jim Shultz, about their fundraising efforts to erect a Korean War Memorial in the Kansas City area so the "Forgotten War" will never be forgotten.
