Fallen Heroes Project/Special Message from UAW-GM

-The Fallen Hero Project mission is to "honor the American Fallen Heroes for their ultimate sacrifice during the war against terrorism." Founder, Michael Reagan creates and distributes hand-drawn portraits of families' fallen heroes, free of charge. We speak with Reagan about his dedication to this project.

-A great number of current and retired General Motors (GM) employees and United Auto Workers (UAW) members have served in the U.S. armed forces. It’s no surprise UAW-GM works hard to honor them and their service through the UAW Veterans Affairs Department, and the GM Affinity Group. This week we read a special message from UAW-GM.

  1. AS the reciepient of on of Michaels great works I can say that his portraits are an amazing way to help deal with the loss of a loved one. My son, Cpl Patrick R Nixon, USMC , was KIA 3/23/03. Michaels portrait of Pat keeps him with his family in a very tangible way. There are no words that can say how much we and I know other families can say how much we appreciate and love Michael.

  2. This Fallen Heroes Project is a great and honorable gesture. I have enjoyed reading your posts.

Thought I would share with you and your readers about a great innovative fundraising idea that gets cash money into the hands of families in the time of need and those who suffer the tragic loss of those who serve in the capacity of the military, law enforcement or firefightig.
