Richard Sanders of Pittsburgh was injured while participating in a training exercise in California, and found himself not being able to make ends meet in the wake of that injury.

Service Shephard Wanted
This week, the National Defense speaks with Don Gromit, whose son, Brent, served and was wounded while serving in Afghanistan who through lost paperwork, miscommunication, etc., had a service German Sheperd adopted out from under them. Don has put in countless hours trying to reach a solution to his problem, and Jerry and Randy throw their weight behind the fight for an American veteran trying to be reunited with his partner.
